Michael Jackson`s family plan a tribute concert
The late `Thriller` hitmaker - who died of acute Propofol intoxication at his home in Los Angeles on June 25 in 2009 - will be remembered with a huge event in Los Angeles featuring a number of world famous artists and all proceeds are set to go to charity according to In Touch Weekly.
Michael`s family members, sister La Toya, brothers Marlon, Jackie and Tito and mother Katherine are set to announce the details in a global press conference at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Monday (25.07.11).
It is unclear is any of Michael`s siblings will perform at the event although it is a possibility after his sister Janet showcased a virtual duet with her deceased brother in London last month.
Janet revealed singing their 1995 duet `Scream` with Michael makes her feel closer to him, explaining "It`s therapeutic, you know and it makes me smile inside. I mean the energy of the song is fierce but makes it makes me smile inside when I hear him, when I hear his voice."
